Government Spending Review - it's not a catch 22
With the spending review set to conclude in June, and the requirement for three-year submissions, law enforcement professionals are faced with the challenge of finding ways to enhance productivity and efficiency within the workforce, all while managing costs effectively.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work survey celebrates the UK’s top employers, highlighting companies that provide positive and supportive work environments, with a particular emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing. The awards create their shortlists based on feedback from anonymous staff surveys; we are delighted to share another year of such positive feedback.
At Forensic Analytics we prioritise wellbeing and life balance with the implementation of flexible working patterns, commitment to personal and professional development and an extensive social responsibility programme and weekly yoga sessions. Additionally, we allow extra annual leave for volunteering days, birthdays and Christmas. Staff agree that working at Forensic Analytics comes with special and unique benefits, and that they plan to stay with the company for a long time.
Chief People Officer, Rebecca Hannon, who managed the entry to the awards as well as many of our wellbeing initiatives stated:
I’ve always been proud of the environment we’ve created here at Forensic Analytics. Despite our growth over the last few years, we’ve always tried to keep the family feel, which is exactly how our business started – with family members and friends. We’ve implemented many positive wellbeing incentives which not only help our colleagues – but also the wider community, such as our recent partnership with volunteering app ‘On-Hand’. Everything we do reflects our core values, and I’m delighted that the work we’ve put in to make Forensic Analytics a great working environment is being recognised, and our colleagues can feel proud to be part of such a great organisation.
Chief Executive Officer, Steve Rick added:
It’s the people in Forensic Analytics that make us special, and we are justifiably proud of achieving Sunday Times Best Companies to work for status. Our business is about creating software and solutions for law enforcement that helps them save time, save money and solve crime. As a business with a purpose – to support law enforcement, we need a creative and agile, forward-thinking culture, which will allow us to attract bar raisers in all disciplines to deliver our mission. To achieve this, we need a positive working environment, the feedback received from The Sunday Times Best Place to Work survey, is testament to that.
