This module provides the core documents required to plan, conduct, and evidence validation and verification activities for FSA DIG-200 Cell Site Analysis for Geolocation end to end method used by Forensic Analytics, including end-user requirements, planning activities, validation tests, and completed record examples. It includes the completed Validation Plan and Validation Report (on the FCN (Forensic Capability Network) provided templates), alongside example risk assessments (FMEAs), a Statement of Validation Completion, and the Validation Implementation Plan. Together, these materials offer a robust framework to help organisations build validation processes aligned with the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code (v2) and ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
This module provides the ongoing post validation activities undertaken for recording minor changes to the accredited method (e.g. new software release i.e CSAS v3.15 – CSAS v3.16) Documentation includes a completed risk assessment and example updated validation plan and report.
This module provides the core technical operational procedures and templates used by Forensic Analytics for the delivery of accredited Cell Site Analysis casework, covering the end-to-end method including Booking in and Estimating, Strategy, RF surveying, Data Analysis, Cell Site Analysis Reporting, Opinions and interpretations, Issuing Reports, Court Attendance and Retention and Destruction. It also includes equipment management, maintenance standards, and documentation templates to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant casework.
This module provides a comprehensive suite of quality management documents including core policies, procedures, and operational controls that together establish a structured and effective Quality Management System (QMS) framework. Covering key areas such as document control, internal audits, non-conformance management, risks and opportunities, supplier assurance, business continuity, management review, customer feedback, opinions and interpretations, and impartiality/confidentiality, these materials collectively support alignment with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code (v2) as well as ISO 9001:2015.
This module is collection of resources designed to establish, track, and evidence practitioner competence, from training records and role profile templates to structured competency assessments and legal awareness materials. It also includes specialist role profiles, operational checklists, standards of conduct, and detailed competence coverage mappings to help teams understand and document the skills required for effective practice. Altogether, it is a clear and organised framework for developing expertise and ensuring staff are appropriately trained for initial competence, ongoing competence, and training and competence record examples for compliance with ISO 17025:2017 and the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code (v2).
This module sets out the procedures and quality controls for producing reports and statements, including the structured peer review process as required for compliance with the Forensic Science Regulator’s Code of Practice (v2) and ISO/IEC 17025:2017. It defines how checks are performed, how peer reviews are documented, and provides an example template for recording peer review events to achieve full traceability within the process.
