Training Course - Disclosure of Communications Data

Understanding and dealing with disclosure competently is a fundamental part of a criminal investigation. It works to ensure that investigations and trials are conducted in a fair, objective, and thorough manner. 

This course has been designed to provide an in-depth exploration of the disclosure of communications data and answers the questions; What does disclosure mean and what is the process? Why it is important? Who is responsible? When should it be considered? And where should disclosed material be recorded?

This course has been developed and is delivered by Intelligence Analysts who have worked at local, national, and international levels on criminal investigations into the serious and organised criminality of Organised Crime Groups.

We recommend that optional extra day be added, which includes our Courtroom Skills course – whereby you learn the fundamentals and gain the confidence to effectively present evidence in the courtroom.

Pre-Requisites:

Obligatory
• CDR Processing and Interpretation or
• Equivalent experience of traditional CDR processing, interpretation, and analysis.

Note: Delegates will be unable to complete this course without the above pre-requisite.

Highly recommended
• Next Generation Comms Data Analysis FA217 or
• Equivalent experience of CDR processing, interpretation, and analysis.

Note: Completion of this course will be very challenging without the above pre-requisites and is likely to undermine your investment as the training and capability outcome is likely to be diminished.
